Believe Easter is an outdoor experience taking you on a journey through theatrical performances and interactive activities creating memories with your loved ones to treasure for a lifetime! Joining your chosen group, complete with your own Bunny Guide to lead you around the Easter Village, you will meet all the characters who will entertain you with a mixture of interactive activities and performances.
Come and meet all the animals in this interactive amazing experience at the travelling Fascinating Friendly Fabulous Farm that is visiting especially for you this Easter! Join The Chaotic Creative Curious Crafts to help Alice create her magic and make something magical to take home. Visit the storytelling Tipi for The Spring Legend of Persephone told in comic verse with a frantic array of costumes and props, not forgetting a woodland visit to The Twirling Twisting Twizzling Trail full of mystery, games and tasks and to find a chocolate fiend hidden deep within the trees to supply you with confusion, hilarity and an Easter treat! All of this wrapped up with an Easter Café full of goodies where you can visit for refreshments along the way making this an Egg-cellent Eggs-perience for an Eggs-tremely Eggstraordinary Eggs-ilarating Eggs-travaganza!

BELIEVE is an outdoor event and has a series of slight bumps and slopes, the event takes place within the grounds of Hardwick Hall Hotel and at this time of the year most areas are dry and sturdy making it pushchair/wheelchair friendly. You need to be aware that there are natural hazards such as tree stumps, uneven ground and there can also be slight muddy conditions, dependant on the weather. The event is accessible over grass and uneven ground and able to accommodate wheelchair users and for those pushing buggies. Please be aware that there is one small step on arrival through the archway on to the event field. We do get a lot of visitors with special needs and want to be welcoming and accommodating to everyone. Please give us a call if you would like to discuss anything and if you would like your Bunny Guide to be made aware of any other requirements that you may need or to check suitability. The event, in each session will have at its maximum capacity 4 groups with sizes of up to 50 people in each.

The event is aimed at anyone who BELIEVES in the magic of Easter! It suits all ages, for smaller ones the adults can help with crafts etc but there is something there for all…even the adults!
There is FREE parking onsite. When you arrive, please drive into Hardwick Hall Hotel driveway following the parking signs around to the back of the hotel. Make your way down the lane following the signs to our BELIEVE Easter meeting point, through the archway taking you to the event field. You will then look out for your Group name and Bunny Guide who will be waiting to check you in. You will stay in that group for the duration of your adventure. Any issues or if lost….then please visit us in the Easter Hut. The address is: Hardwick Hall Hotel, Sedgefield Co. Durham, TS21 2EH. Please follow the signs to Hardwick Hall Hotel.
Remember this is an outdoor Easter adventure! Although it’s taking place in April, the weather can still surprise us, so make sure you check the weather forecast to wear appropriate outdoor clothing. We will be visiting the different activities of which one will not be under cover, into the woodland area. The rest of the visits will be in either Tipi’s or under marquee cover but we still need to walk between each Eggs-perience.
Saturday 4th, Sunday 5th, Monday 6th, Tuesday 7th, Wednesday 8th, Thursday 9th, Friday 10th, Saturday 11th, Sunday 12th & Monday 13th April 2020.
- 9.00am arrival, finishing by 12pm (You are welcome to stay for further refreshments at the end of your adventure)
- 12pm arrival, finishing by 3pm (You are welcome to arrive earlier or stay for further refreshments at the end of your adventure)
- 3pm arrival, finishing by 6pm (You are welcome to arrive earlier for refreshments before the start of your adventure)
We recommend that you arrive with enough time to park and make your way into site to meet your Bunny Guide, the car park is 2 minute’s walk away from the meeting point, please ensure you arrive to meet your guide at the designated time.
As the event aims to provide a safe and clean environment for families and in particular children, we would ask ticket holders and all visitors not to bring dogs with them to the site. As there will be a visiting farm on site, no dogs are permitted to be brought onto site unless you need to bring assistance dogs, we would need to be made aware of this at the time of booking.
Early booking is strongly recommended to avoid disappointment.
Step By Step Guide To Booking
- Choose the date you would like to visit
- Click the swinging 'Book' sign at the top of the page
- Select the date and time slot of your choice (there are 3x different time slots available daily)
- Select a group from one of the 4 group names (all groups undertake the same activities but in a different order)
- If that group name is not available or sold out then please try a different group.
- Follow the steps for filling in your info
- Payment received by PayPal (you do not have to have a PayPal account just a valid payment card)
- You will get 2x emails - one to confirm payment (from PayPal) and the other one a confirmation with a booking reference number. This is generated by our website and is your confirmation and ticket. If you do not receive both emails within a few hours of making the booking, please contact us and we will ensure that you receive the full confirmation. You will require the one from us with your booking reference number on as proof of purchase, keep your email at hand on your phone or a printed copy to bring with you on the day.

All individual tickets have an admin fee of £1.50 to be added for each ticket to cover the card payment fee (PayPal) and the website administration/management of each booking. Tickets are non-refundable, by purchasing your tickets you are agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, please read all information and check your details are correct prior to booking. If you have any changes to your booking, we will try and accommodate you as best as possible, dependant on the complexity of the changes an additional admin fee may be required. This is to cover the administration and management, where a fee of £5.00 may be applied. If this fee is applicable you will be issued with an invoice via PayPal, once payment has been received then changes (if complex) will be applied. On booking we take your details in order that we can contact you in the event of a cancellation or any changes to your booking and to keep you informed of future relevant events. If you would prefer not to be contacted further in this way, please let us know when you purchase your tickets.
Yes there will be a bespoke café with food, refreshments and Easter Treats available.
Please note that all food on site is provided by Ramside Estate and Hardwick Hall Hotel and not Believe Easter. If you have any queries regarding the catering elements of the event, please contact them directly.
If you have any changes to your booking, we will try and accommodate you as best as possible, please get in contact to discuss these changes. Dependant on the complexity of the changes an additional fee may be required, this is for the administration and management of these changes and the charge is £5.00. If this fee is applicable you will be issued with an invoice via PayPal, once payment has been received the changes will be applied.
As the tickets are non-refundable we advise that you read all information relating to this event including our Terms & Conditions, if you are happy to proceed with the booking we ask you to double check you have selected the correct date and time for yourself prior to making the payment.

There are no hidden costs and everything is included in your booking from crafts and all activities. The only extra spend will be your food and drink on the day or if you wish to purchase items from the Gift Shop.
Due to the outdoor nature of this event we are at times impacted by the weather. If we need to cancel any sessions for safety reasons, we will contact you and an alternative date and time will be offered. No refunds will be given.
